  1. I like what you have done so far. I can’t wait to read about the DI.

  2. This is very very impressive!

Easily one of the most comprehensive and intelligent writings about the enormously complex story of Lost that I’ve come across. I especially liked how you clarified things I’ve long believed such as the fact that the ship the MIB and Jacob see at the end of season 5 is NOT the Black Rock but some other vessel.

Furthermore, you’re brave attempt at describing the long and sordid history of the island back to Mesopotamian times has helped me make a great deal of sense of the contemporary storyline in the show. It certainly was an eye opener and you’ve done a convincing job of filling in many many gaps that aren’t so obvious when frat watching the show.

A lot of thought has gone into this, and while I wonder about a couple of conclusions drawn here, it’s nonetheless an immensely satisfying read. Well researched and well done!

  3. This is amazing work. Loved reading it. I feel very similar to mos of what you said and came in with to fill in gaps. I wish when you had time you would include in detail the actual events of the show almost like season recaps worked out in a chronological timeline. Stuff like the backstories of everyone, what they did on island during each season, Henry Gale, Desmond/Penny, Rousseau, The drug plane, each dharma station and history etc, the epilogue with Hurley, Ben and Walt etc.

Only things I disagreed with you on: I think the Black Rock is the boat Jacob and MIB are seeing. I think the Black Rock has some of it’s crew row out and gets swallowed up in a time jump and our the people that were shooting at Locke and company.

Also, I don’t think the MIB was Walt. I truly believe Walt was so powerful that he could be places and not even realize it. I personally heard Damon Lindelof explain Walt as simply something like this: We’ve seen special people come to this Island. Walt was one of these people. So special that he freaked the Others out. We see this ourselves in the minisode “Room 23”, where the others were experimenting on Walt and got freaked out by his abilities. Walt is so powerful; he is unaware of his own power. This is why Ben tells Jack they got more then they bargained for with Walt. That’s why he hands him back to Michael so quickly. Because he just wanted him off the Island. He can appear in places without being aware of it, he seems to have psychic abilities, etc.

Why do you think Juliet time jumped with everyone? Do you think it had anything to do with her banishment from the Others?

    Amazing work!
